I know that most of you know about my irrational fear of zombies. (Sad as it is to admit this, I sometimes get really freaked out in my house and stage elaborate zombie-attack-exit-plans in my head.) I also, for some odd reason, love zombie movies. They're the only part of the horror (if you can call them part of it) genre that I like. My favorite film by far is Shaun of the Dead. It's a damn british zombie masterpiece -- if you haven't seen it, then shame on you. I was reading the trivia section of imdb.com on the film, and ran across some funny little snippets:

Zombies?

Remains
The Alkaline Trio used to be my favorite band. I say "used to" because my music tastes have matured a bit, and I'm no longer the spiked-belt wearing angsty teen I once was. (Although, as I type this, my fingers are hitting the keys with black nail polish on them.) On January 30th, they released Remains, a CD-DVD combo of their lesser known B-sides and older tracks. It's funny... three years ago I would have killed for this collection. I think I've seen the Trio like, 4 or 5 times. They're literally great every time, even when Matt Skiba's vocal chords gave out on him and I almost gave up the ghost.

My Mom's Going To Be Pissed
Ran across this on a different blog today -- it's from the iTunes main page. Get it? Bwahaha.
Admittedly, I've been DVRing American Idol a lot lately. I'm not sure why, I just get sucked in. At least this way, I only spend an hour and thirty minutes watching this crap instead of two whole hours. Right? Right?
