It's Only Tuesday?!

As the title of this post suggests, I'm in hell. I've got so much to do and so little time to do it... which makes for a very angry panda.
I was just laying on my couch, quietly steaming over all of the shit I've got going on, when an ad for Target came on. After seeing it, I sat straight up on the couch and started typing away on my roomate's laptop in fury. "Why", you ask? Because Target's super-cheap CD of the month is none other than Carnavas, the Silversun Pickups' latest release. I have no idea why things like that get me so fired up -- it's just that most people would hear "Lazy Eye" or "Dream at Temp0 119" and be like, "is this The Shins, or Snow Patrol?" Actually, speaking of Snow Patrol, they're coming through town with the SSPs opening for them. For a mere $39.00. Ya know, no big deal.

Oh! The new video for Timbaland's single, "Give It To Me" featuring Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado came out on the internet today. It's fairly unimpressive, being compiled of concert footage and scenes of Timberlake and Timbaland singing into a camera on a tour bus. Alas. The beat is good, and the song is catchy, so I'll let it slide. ;)

Oh! The much anticipated album, Neon Bible, by The Arcade Fire is out sometime next month, and the band has actually released the lyrics (though in a fairly cryptic form) on NeonBible.com. The track "The Wolf and the Fox", named for a poem, is read by a little girl in French. Malheureusement, it doesn't translate exactly, and I suppose they had to change it a bit to make it rhyme in English, but it's pretty cool to hear. You just have to find it first.

My dad and I saw Reno 911! the other day, and it was absoloutely ridiculous. It was pretty short, but the whole thing was put together in a hilarious way. Although, I don't exactly think it was the right movie to see with my dad. Oh! At the very end, one of the characters says he's from Fort Collins -- it's really crazy. The whole crowd was like, "what?"

Oh, if you get a chance, download "Debaser" by Rogue Wave. It's a kick ass Pixies cover. I think (don't kill me) that it's sweeter than the original.
I'm going to go and get food -- not grocery shopping means I get to eat out all the time!!! Woo!
